Jury of WatchOut! Film Festival 2023

The Jury for this 11th edition of WatchOut Tetovo Film Festival is:
Arben Zharku, Gjorgje Jovanovik and Fabian Langer.
 

Arben Zharku - A Producer who currently holds the position of head of International co-production at Revolver Amsterdam. Prior to this role, he served as President and CEO of the Kosovo Cinematography Center QKK (2011-2021) and SKENA UP Int. Film Festival in Prishtina. Having graduated from the Faculty of Arts of the University of Prishtina in 2004, he further honed his skills by obtaining a Producer certification from European Audiovisual Entrepreneurs (EAVE), demonstrating his commitment to professional development and excellence. Arben's contributions to the European film community have been recognized through his membership in the European Film Academy and his position on the Board of Directors of the European Film Promotion (2019-2022).

Gjorgje Jovanovik - A Graduate of the Faculty of Fine Arts, St. Cyril and Methodius University, Skopje in 2003. In his recent work, the question of the integration and disintegration of the contemporary man has been his preoccupation. He re-examines interpersonal communication in the context of the general situation of redefining universal values, man-society relations, and consumerism as a key factor of modern lifestyle, politics as a factor of disintegration of the cities, states, and families. Using no limits in media he has worked on installations, performances, objects, videos, collages, and paintings in order to achieve a transformation of the artistic dimensions of his individual expression by following up the fluidity of the contemporary context.

Fabian Langer - A Cameraman who from 2007 to 2016 was working in the German film industry as a cameraman, steadicam operator and cutter. A cameraman, who while working as an independent filmmaker, also started to campaign for social work and took action in doing projects with several social institutions. In these projects, he developed programs to encourage social skills through filmmaking. In this category, he was awarded his Bachelor of Arts degree in social work at the Evangelical Academy, Berlin.
